So if you leave the lights off. And start the car and put it in drive. Only one headlight will operate.
So what I do everytime. Turn the Light Switch to ON, Start the car. Put it in Drive and go.
Even sometimes when I turn over the ignition and then turn the lights on before going into DRIVE, one still will only operate.
Let me know if you have any issues. Because I even took out the headlight that wasnt working, checked for a faulty ground or something.
So as long as you don't mind driving with your lights on all the time. And it is a quality kit, whenever I made this post. Been driving through winter and with my lights on all the time(not fogs on all the time though) And the kit has held up pretty nice.

Thanxs for the update macaboo. I will report back in this thread when I get them installed. Sounds like I will likely have to cover the light sensor so that the DRLs are tricked into being in eternal darkness!!!

I got the HIDs installed today. I took my time and made sure all the wires, ballasts and igniters were secured. I used self tapping metal screws for the grounds to ensure I was getting a clean metal ground. The high/low H13 came with the harness that comes straight off of the battery. I used the stock fog light harness instead of using a spare HID harness that I had sitting around.
What a huge cosmetic difference through the day. It hasn't gotten dark yet out on the west coast, so I haven't had a chance to see them light up at night yet. The 6000K bulbs are perfect.
My buddies and I have been using the same DDM HIDs in our RZR side by sides for quite some time now. None of us have had one single problem in the extreme elements and rough trail conditions, so I have high hopes for my truck.
I will continue to report back to see if my DRLs present any problems. I'm leaving my headlights in the auto-on mode, but covering the light sensor on the dash to override the DRLs.

OK...I see what you mean. If I leave my lights on "Auto" sometimes the passenger side headlight will not ignite, more often than not, it will turn on though. But, I don't want to be driving with one light on, so now I'm just turning my lights on manually after I fire up my truck. A bit of a drag, but I'll get over it! I just have to remember to turn them off when I leave my truck...that's the hard part. I sure got used to the "Auto Lights" system, never had to touch them.
I'm sure impressed with the light output, the street signs glow now! Haven't been flashed yet either, so I'm assuming their aim is good.

I had been trying to install 8000k in my headlights and fog lights and I have the same problems (flickering, one light out).
People is telling me to install a capacitor "4700uf/35v" but I am afraid to loose my warranty.
Can you give me a suggestion?
Thanks.

I have yet to mess with the lights on any of my trucks over the years. But on warranty issues. What I would do is install 2 sets of water tight pin connectors and place the capacitor in the middle. This way if you have any issues you can take it out. But I think you may be SOL once you do the lights.

There are two easy ways to kill the drls on an 04-08, I'd assume they'll apply to the 09+
1. Pull the DRL relay in the underhood box.
2. Disconnect the DRL resistor located down near the front bumper.

Is the issue with only one headlight operating an issue only with the DTRL? I do not have fog lights, and do not have the DTRL. So should I run into this problem if I just install the HI/LO beams on my headlights?
Also, do you have any pictures of your light output on the road? Do you forsee any issues with aim on f150 with a 2" leveling kit on it?
