04-08 fx-r retrofit help please
Ok guys I just started my retrofit. I picked up a kit of the new 2.5in fx-r 3.0 and I need help. Nothing special 35w bulbs and ballast, Gatling Gun shroud and 100mm xb led halo ring. I've gotten to the point to where I'm unsure of how the projector and shroud are suppose to fit. So first things first, how deep are the projectors suppose to sit in the headlight projector bowl? Please see pics of my current progress.
Now onto the shroud. I know the Gatling Gun is really hard to fit on the fx-r but I went with it anyways due to it being my favorite shroud. Just unsure of how far down the projector is the shroud suppose to go? Please see pics below.
I appreciate the help in advance guys.

Thanks Scobar, yea I completely did away with the GG shrouds. It seemed impossible to get them to fit right, I trimmed about all that I could and still a no go. I reverted back to the apollo 2.0 and it's a night and day difference. Here's some progress.
I actually trimmed the inside of the Apollo some and it sits all the way down now compared to the first photo.

So I got my matchbox projectors in this morning and was messing around with the front halve and turn signal bucket. Please pay no mind to the jacked up headlight lol. Obviously in the picture the micro GG shroud would need to be trimmed down to sit more flush. Again I bought these projectors for my fogs but it was an idea.

Yea I did more trimming since those first set of photos and it's good now, that portion is all good. I'm having Mike G paint everything for me, can't spend all these money and do a terrible rattle can job (Im terrible at painting). The turn signal is up in the air, its just an idea. Haven't even tested to see if the front halve will clear the turn signal bulb or not.
