Ask him what type of wdh he uses cuz your set ups are simmilar. That might get him thinking.

^^ along these lines. Feel it out a bit first, he might be the kind of guy that accepts advice readily, maybe not. If the latter....

Make the conversation more about you and your experiences with a similar setup and the "troubles" you had until you got the proper WDH setup, and how miserable and nightmarish it was before that- especially in the wind. How that money was the best money you have spent.

Put the bug in his ear and let him come to you. Many, many deals are made over a beer and a campfire. Just don't go at him with your head down full charge with the "mayhem, death, destruction and lawyers" bit.

As a relative newbie to towing TTs I'd sure accept feedback from fellow campers.

I would go with this approach and I would definitely say something.

Yep...Port A...we parked it for a month so we only had to tow it there and back. Stayed 10 days out of 30 total. So much easier than towing it everytime...and turned out cheaper than a hotel everytime.

we get a site at pioneer every time... 40-50 a night with full hook ups... i'm too chicken to pull mine on the beach lol. those hotel prices are insane and some how we always end up going during some event by accident like the sand castle thing

Very happy with the matchup. Still might change the tongue to a Bulldog style...safer and stronger IMO. Although the chain style WDH with Friction Sway Control has worked...might go to the E4. But the setup works very well as it is so far.

Yep, Prices for lodging are getting a bit ridic in Port A lately. The month including electricity cost me $550.00 or $55 for the days I stayed. It was only $19 a day per 30 days. Made it cheaper to leave it instead of the extra towing.
