winter coming / Plows?
as i say..NY winter coming. wondering if I should even consider a plow for light plowing of my own driveway and some at work.
Its a 2002 F150 xlt 4x4. Some people say its too hard on a truck to do it. But I sorta feel if you do it right! and dont slam the truck into banks it should be just fine. Anyone have an opinion on if its too bad for your truck? again personal use only.
Thanks for input. First truck with the ***** to do it and never knew anyone personally that does it.

From page 6 of 2012 F-150 Owner's Manual
"Using your vehicle with a snowplow
Do not use this vehicle for snowplowing.
Your vehicle is not equipped with a snowplowing package."
Not certain about older models.

Canuck with a truck
That's becasue the new f150's have electric power steering compared to the old hydraulic steering, and OP as long as your not using it commercially and don't have a two large blade a half ton is fine for personal use.

How would one even be attached? Like what would have to be added to the truck?
