Default whats my max 5th wheel

hey
hears a pic of the plate on my 09 f250 what is my max for 5th wheel I know part of towing is also all the cargo and people and truck.
I want to up grade to a diesel but stealer ships is trying to sell me another gas pod so I might just keep what I have if it works out.
its a 2009 ford f250 cc long bed 4x4 5.4

i dont believe that is the right sticker it should also have tire psi and i think yellow all around

Payload shows 2,439 lbs. After Hitch and cargo, just assume 2000 lbs payload for traile give or take. 5th wheel is up to 20 % hitch weight. So, 2000lbs/.20 = 10,000 lbs.
That is probably the most the towing rating of the 5.4 as well.

And if the OP does upgrade to a diesel, he should go all the way to an F350 as the extra weight of the diesel cuts into the F250's payload. Loaded F250 diesels can have less payload than some F150s.

Even with that he should still have about 2000 lbs left over. His truck is a 9600 GVWR which is pretty good for an F-250. The power of the 5.4 is more of the bottleneck here, especially if he has taller gear. 4.30 is what you need for this setup.
