Default Built-in tongue weight scale

The new F-150 is sensitive to tongue weight and it's really easy to get more than the 500# max while still keeping 12-15% TW (which helps prevent trailer sway.) BTW: Ford REQUIRES F-150 to be set up with WD htch on trailered loads exceeding 5,000 pounds. A great hitch is the Weigh-Safe, which has built in TW scale. I've used it a lot and find it very accurate. Read this 2015 F150 review that talks about towing: http://www.hardworkingtrucks.com/roa...150-supercrew/

I believe the 500# max is without a weight distribution hitch. My Max Tow is 1,150# WITH a WD hitch.
