Do you carry two kayaks? Pics?
Any pics or ideas for carrying two 12.5' long, 28" wide (each) kayaks? 80lbs total weight, so it's the size that makes it tricky.
Been looking at racks and load extenders. Wondering what other folks are using.

If you're not towing anything, then it would be lot easier to get a pair of 40# kayaks into the bed of your truck and use these. Rather than heaving them up on top of a cap or whatever. Looks like a good idea to me.

Did some more digging and found the manufacturer website. Had this pic. I think this is the ticket.

I haul 4 when going camping. I used a roof rack from a ford escape. they fit the roof lines perfect. just use some windshield urethane to seal up the holes. had a friend give me a set of Yakima crossbars that I made brackets and bolted them to the roof rack for it to be wide enough to haul 2 side by side. on the rear is a "standard" ladder rack.

any of the newer escapes up to a 2013 model. installing it was easy maybe 15 minutes. align it where u want it. pre drill the holes. use stainless steel sheetmetal screws. and put urethane around the holes before mounting. i will get some pics for ya
