I've always used a scale to set it up but I've never really
weighed the WDH (100 lb?). I didn't think I was close enough to matter. My weights are only to the nearest 100 lb as well because I don't cut it that close.

No Trailer
Steer 3100 lb
Drive 2200 lb
Total 5300 lb

Trailer Weight
TA 6200 lb
Tongue 800 lb (1110 WDH Hitch Tongue Rating).
GTW 7000 lb (8500 GVWR)

Hooked with Equilizer 1000
S. 3100 lb (3300 GAWR)
D. 2900 lb (3300 GAWR)
GVW 6000 lb (6500 GVWR)
TA 6400 lb (8000 GAWR)
GCW 12400 (12700 GCWR)

See anything I did wrong?

Not enough info to comment, other than the trailer is apparently not wet and loaded for a camping trip. Trailer GVWR of 8,500 pounds but loaded to only 7,000? Trailer axle combined GAWR of 8,000 but loaded to only 6,400? That doesn't sound like any serious RVers I know.

You need another scale ticket, but this time with the trailer but without the spring bars tightened.

Steer axle without a trailer weighs 3,100, and steer axle with 800 pounds tongue weight and the spring bars tight still weighs 3,100 pounds? Possible, but that's why you need the additional scale ticket to double check the adjustment of the WD hitch.

That's because you made an assumption.
It's an enclosed car trailer.

If I know the tongue weight is near 800 lb (usually upper 7's) weighed with hitch leveled and the hitch weighs under 100 lb and Steers are brought back to unladen weight why would I need an additional hitch weight? I already know it's around 850-900 lb. I have car and tool chest location set so it doesn't change much.

Tongue weight is what it is and doesn't change with WDH correct?

Is not hitch weight defined as Tongue Weight + WDH Weight?

Now I could see an argument the Equilizer 1000 is a little heavy for the application and the bars are pretty stiff but that was the model they recommended.

I'm trying to figure out what I'm gaining by weighing hitch weight and subtracting WDH to get tongue weight instead of weighing tongue weight and adding WDH to get hitch weight.

It doesn't sway or porpoise at any speed, steering and braking are good and axles are all at safe weights.

I weighed it once without WDH Bars on and it seems like it was about 360 lb transfer off the front axle. Since hooked up put it back at unladen weight on steers I didn't really mess with it since I was told that was ideal.
