Want to buy a trailer, but doing homework first

That's pretty interesting. I had my state selected and the 23DBH wasn't available. Selected the state next to me (120 mile drive) and saw it. Looks perfect.
Wonder what complications there are buying across state lines.

No big deal buying across state lines. I have bought several out of state vehicles. Just make sure you get a clear, signed title, and bill of sale....Some states don't title trailers. If the selling state doesn't and yours does, you will need a manufacturers statement of origin to apply for a title with the DMV.

We have the 2015 version so it has the 50 gallon F/W tank, but for the sizre of the trailer the tanks sizes from what I have seen are above average. We love ours.

My first thought was to explore this option, disregard the dealer, just used as a reference:

We've considered these. The problem is, some national parks that I want to visit require hard side campers on the grounds.

When I was a kid, my family was camping in a forest in normal tents. Ever have your camp site attacked by a bear? I have. Was NOT a good time. Fortunately, everyone made it out okay; the only loss was gear.

Never had a bear encounter. It has always been preached to me the importance of keeping a clean campsite (not saying you didn't) so I have always been meticulous about making sure everything is cleaned up and hung at night. Even still it can happen. You never know what the previous guest did before you.
