^, yep, I do a little research before I buy anything, especially something that I expect to have for a while.

so I have continued my research, trailer weight is 1620lbs the way I ordered it per the latest genius I spoke with, I have a spare tire with mount I will be adding as well as welding on a few d-rings for anchor points, I am using the 13% number for tounge weight and figure a WDH would be useful even though I could probably live without it, looking at a Curt brand 1000/10000lb round bar hitch.

Don't buy any brand of round bar WD hitch. The round bars stick down out of the head and give very little clearance between the bottom of the spring bar and the ground. The result is dragging the spring bars on the ground every time you go over a sharp dip or bump.

Pay a few bucks more and get the trunnion bars. Those come straight back out of the hitch head, so very little danger of the spring bars dragging on the ground.

After the above link loads, scroll down a bit and you will see that Curt makes both types, and you can see the difference I'l talking about.
