Default Trailer Tow

Pulled my neighbors golf cart up to his campsite for the summer on a U-Haul trailer. Trailer empty weight is 1240 Lbs and we added about another 1000 for golf cart and 200 in cargo, 2240 total trailer weight. The 4.2 V6 pulled it over the mountain no problem.

My Brother-in-law has an '08 XL that looks just like yours. He has the V6 in his. Up until I got my truck, he, my sister and I would take our trip out to West Virginia in it. I'm a big guy, my sister is a big girl, and my B-I-L is a Railbird, Lol. We all fit comfortably and still towed his four wheeler with no problem. He tows it on a small open trailer. It has small sides on it and a fold up rear ramp. I think it's a 5x10? or 5x12? maybe. He says he has no problem towing it up to about 65-70mph..
