No problem, all the information I have for when the green LED should light up and when it shouldn't is from the manufacturers Tech. Even the probing and jumping part with the test light.

I didn't hook this up so I have no idea of how things are on this. I'm learning about it though. I'm not even sure where the guy taped into the factory 4 prong system. Figured at the time that they knew how to install these at the trailer place and it would have been a quality job.

I found were this guys spliced into my harness in the back for the 7 prong connector. I haven't pulled it apart yet but its a crimp and unprotected so its a prime suspect. No shrink tape, liquid tape or even electrical tape was used to cover it.

Just a follow up with a picture. It was the connector and when I cut the insulator apart the one wire fell off it was so corroded. This was what a year did to their splice while unprotected. The red wire had a hole in the insulator so the water drained out or it probably would have looked like the one on the right.
