I really want a lift on my truck nothing big probably a three inch. WhAt I don't like about it is it messing up how much I can tow. Would airbags fix that problem and allow me to tow as much as I normally would without a lift

I towed with my last F250 with an 8" lift and 40" tires without any issues. There are plenty of lifted trucks dragging trailers down here in Florida. Although now, I am towing with a stock suspension.

Yes but is the max towing been reduced because of the lift. And would airbags bring the max
Towing capacity back to normal in conjunction with a lift.

I don't think the lift/springs will reduce what you can tow. Your tire selection and gear ratio will. I would want at least 3.73's and if it were me I'd run with 4.10's to compensate for the taller tires.

gears may struggle more, you aren't reduced. People don't pull with lifts because of 5th wheels or goose necks. they don't quite reach where for that kind of application. A bumper pull style trailer just got an appropriate drop hitch and be on your way. I have 2 inch drop hitch because of a 3 inch lift the trailer is pretty much level and keeps it aligned when weight is on it.

lift it more then 6 may cause a problem for a bumper pull style but under that it shouldn't be

Ok that helps a lot what about how the truck rides does it sit weird or drive weird.

It depends on your lift. It's going to ride different regardless though. New tires new rims new suspension feel. Taller the tippyer it'll feel.

Now my level feels different because of the suspension sitting differently. Angles changed.

You'll get use to it fast but it is going to feel different so don't tow right away until you get the feel for it
