Default Towing a backhoe

I have a 2005 f 150 xl its the heavy duty one, I need to get a backhoe home about 200 miles, the backhoe weighs about 13000 pounds will this truck do it. Thanks

There's only one way to truly know if it can actually be done...Just do it and don't forget to report back the results...video would be nice please.

I doubt that you have a tow rating of 16,000.

It's more than your truck can "officially" handle.

Thats an accident waiting to happen and you know it. Besides the question of whether you can get away with it, think about public liability. I've done my share of pulling and hauling marginal loads but that it just asking for disaster.

That would be way way way over the limit and not only dangerous to you but to everybody else on the road.

9300Lb is your max and the trailer would take up, I'm guessing at least 1/3 of that. And that's if your truck is set up with the 9300 rating.
