Its got more than enough payload and towing capability and i am sure the diesel will be the most efficient and logical way to go. picking it up in 4 days, and a towing i will go!
Check the door payload sticker, seriously

I'd wager less than some have access to all of this for new can-bus trucks. Also, that video is ignorant, lack of oil maintenance can cause all of those "issues", doesn't indicate mileage at all.
The only problem with that if the truck really had 80k miles on it the trans shouldn't be pitch black and the ball joints should have lasted even if it was towed with. And judging by how many super duties this guy has done I'd trust his opinion on it.

There where 7 new Toyota Highlander hybrids with keyless go that where all stolen overnight from downtown Toronto from people's own driveways.

The police said they caught the signal from the keyless go and cracked the code, they never found the cars as far as I know.

My point being that pick up truck shouldn't be harder to crack. If its in front of you it can be only a matter of time before someone with experience can get into the programming.

I have a friend with a F250 7.3l 2000 Model SCAB Long Bed 4x4 with a GVWR of 8800# and the truck weighs 7400# (per scale at a local scrap yard). With those #s his payload is only 1400 LBS which is less then my 2010 F150 5.4l SCAB 4x4 6.5 bed not by much but still less. Those #s surprised me and if I would not have seen the #s myself I would have called BS on that one. Just an FYI.
