Towing with a 2013 limited

Do the Plats and Limited have lower GVWRs?
Does adding 22" wheels reduce the GVWR?
Didn't know that they did.
Basically payload is just GVWR minus Curb Weight. I always figured the high end trucks had high curb weights because of high option weights.
The heat/cool seats. 22" wheels.
Moon roofs are known to be very heavy, especially the big on in the 2015s.
And so on.

I have a Limited, too. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that a big limitation in the Limited's towing capacity is the 22s. Even though overall tire diameter is the same, when considering other sized wheels (all things being stock), the short sidewall associated with the 22 inch tire is a key limiter. Something about the shorter sidewall equates to less load capacity on the tire/greater heat generation.

I was actually leaning towards this conclusion myself. I don't think it is the size of the circumference or the rim construction. I believe the only thing different drivetrain wise is the tires themselves.
I have some old FX4 18" rims I can always use with some 275/65/18 if I ever have to tow over the 7500 lbs.
