Yeah I know. It's the garage issue. I really like keeping my vehicles in the garage. So many decisions!

SCrew 6.5' bed is 20 feet 4 inches long. It should fit in a 24' (exterior dimensions) deep garage with 16" on both front and back (I've measured).

It's not just the garage.

Shorter wheelbase trucks can make sharper turns and back your trailer into tighter spots around corners and so on. They are also easier to park when you go into town.

Despite the ride improvement with a longer wheelbase, I would really like my next truck to be 145" or less. But I need the HD Payload package.

Good luck!

How many miles on your EB? any issues? not sure on the 3.5 EB or the 5.0.

We've only got 80,000kms (50K miles). But over 70% of that has been towing. Zero issues so far. Spend Can$100/yr on synthetic oil change and tire rotation.

For towing heavy a lot, the 3.5L EcoB is my engine of choice.

See My Sig...

Tow the trailer in the Sig with no issues at all (5.5 bed)...and, like you said, fits in my garage (without the receiver in the hitch). Much easier to park in general also.
