Tow Rating Question

Thanks for the feedback you guys.
I just landed an F-250 XL for just under $33k (steal). It's really...BIG. Wow, the 250 is a towing beast. I'm stoked though being a noob to towing and all. I've got 12k towing, brake controller, tow package with the 4/7 pins and cooler. It's also got the power upgrade, cruise control, and great safety and security features that are pretty high-tech.
In all, in the next two or three years I'll probably switch over into a suped up F-150 as it's really more my size/speed but as I get used to latching/towing/etc. having something that I know won't require math while I'm watching corners and dealing with back-ins is a bonus. There's a lot to learn in towing and RVing.
Again, it's just a white F-250 XL work truck but we feel blessed to have it and I know it will handle any load i need done. It also has upfitter switches which I probably don't need, but I just love Ford trucks. I'm wondering what the switches can be made to do. Maybe I should get a laser beam attached or something.
Smokeywren was right about the cruise control. Really glad to have that feature just driving it across state. Anyway, looking for my next truck to be a built out 150 XLT, but this will do for now. Thanks for all your feedback, this forum rocks!

congrats sir... i'd bet if i were in your shoes, i'd think the same thing... then get a 5th wheel that was near the top of the 250's payload and towing capacity, then scrap the idea of a 150 and get a 350, at which point i'd get a bigger 5th wheel and continue that cycle until i was at the peterbult dealership lol
