Default Tow Mirrow Wind Noise - Question/Help

I have the 1A Auto tow mirrors. They work great and i love them. Since i installed them i have noticed a pretty significant increase in wind noise from 60mph (+/- 5mph depending on wind speed/direction). I had next to none with the standard mirrors. Obviously the tow mirrors are less aerodynamic than the standard size mirrors so i would expect some noise. The noises i'm hearing can best be described as "turbulent". I do not have a bug deflector or anything else to be the cause. My truck is 11 months old and all door and window seals are in good condition.
Is anyone else experiencing this with the Ford mirrors or aftermarket mirrors? What im hearing seems to be too much to be the standard amount of noise

I replaced my itty bitty stock Lariat mirrors with the Ford tow mirrors for an XLT. I don't notice any extra wind noise, and I often cruise at 80 MPH.

Well i dont have the Ford mirrors. Mine are quiet until i get to 50/55mph. that is when i can begin to hear wind noise but it is acceptable. When i break 60/65mph the noise becomes pretty pronounced and sounds like it is beating against the door/glass. I have a rattle in the door panel so when i pull it off to fix that, ill make sure that the vapor barrier is tight everywhere but i doubt that the barrier does much for noise cancellation.
