Question tires and towing...

Need new tires on my 2008 F150 4x4.
Factory tires were Hankook I think? (horrible tread life) Replaced with Destination A/T and have found they are not wearing nicely on all the hilly/curvy roads since our move from flat W TN to VA.

Need something good for all weather (we do get snow here), good for towing and the off-roading that goes along with parking, not noisy as all get out and won't break the bank!

Magic wand anyone lol

Cooper AT3, I have them on my F-150 and I like them. They look good, quiet, feel solid when towing, and good in the snow.

Sorry, but the good stuff costs more than the not-so good.

Probably best for your needs is the Michelin LTX M/S2.

$208 each for P265/65R18 is near the high end of the price scale for that size tire, but you'll probably love the performance and durability. If you want the stiffer ride of an LT Load Range E tire, then you'll have to go up in price and size if you want to stay with an LTX M/S2.

I ordered my FX4 with Wrangler LT load range C tires. I've been surprised that, in addition to more stable towing, I notice the edges of the front tires stay nice and square; no feathering of the edge. I attribute that to the stiffer sidewall. I have a buddy with an identical truck but he has P-metrics. His truck is smoother riding but mine "handles" better. It's noticeable for sure.

I've been eyeing these too... Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar.
On par pricewise and reviews with the LTX. But notes "not rated for severe snow" (we don't usually get dumped on here tho)

Well, I live in Minnesota and we had a horribly cold and snowy winter last year; over 60 inches of snow and 50 days below zero. The Wranglers worked great.
