Thanks for the feedback Jus. I started with the white which gave about 7/8" increase in unhitched hight. This platinum has a pretty soft spring package so there was a substantial sag w/o a wdh. Had some bounce over joints and breaks that took me to the RAS. We are at 8k and a little more sometimes with hitch weight around 730 now. Want to try black spacer and more hitch weight to see what happens.

quick question. I like the idea and simplicity of the timbrens, but the articulation limit they have does not work for me as i do offroad quite a bit. does the RAS have the same issue?

FWIW, Timbren's do not effect the amount of sag, only the amount of compression which is going to be much stiffer anyways with helper springs.

Just did my first trip with my Timbren equipped 2016 F150 scab. Very happy with the decision to put them on. Hooked up, the rubber springs made contact and I didn't notice any negative change in ride. You would have never guessed they were there.

May not look like a heavy set up, but the beds loaded with yeti's and the trailer is at full weight with a lot on the tongue. Truck was nice and level

Previously I used Supersprings on my older f150. Currently I'm using Timbrens and they work perfectly in supporting the weight. I do recommend Timbrens. Next on my list are TorkLift load stabilizers in conjunction with the Timbrens. Has anyone used the TorkLifts for load support? Our rear leafs are pre drilled so it's a easy assembly.

I have my Equalizer hitch dialed in really well and my 15 F150 sits real level. I was looking at Timbrens or air bags to reduce the vertical bounce I get when towing my 32' TT. Have any of you had this problem solved by adding Timbrens? I don't need them for squat/level, just for reducing some bounce.
Good shock absorbers (dampers) are what is needed to eliminate your *vertical bounce*. I recommend Bilstein for F150s ranging from the typical road-going rig to mild offroading.

Yes the RAS will put more stress on your leaves...
But does the RAS really put *more stress on your leaves*? I don't think they do. The RAS assists the leaf spring pack. It does not make them fail prematurely.

What kind of issues will you see if you take your truck off road with these installed?
KOZ45

Suspension articulation
The ability of the rear axle to articulate fully will be limited if using Timbrens (or Sumos, or any air bag with any air pressure in them) when off road where you need the axle to have more articulation in order to maintain tire contact with uneven terrain.

I've read a report of the RAS rear bracket popping off the leaf spring's rear eyelet during extreme axle articulation.

I would think you need only to secure the RAS rear bracket to the very rear of the leaf spring. I'm surprised Roadmaster hasn't offered this arrangement with their latest F150 version. I have seen a photo of an older F150 which used an earlier version of the RAS where the rear bracket was also bolted to the rear of the leaf spring.
