With the tibrens are the hellwig sway bars needed?
I tow a multitude of things, from boats, to car trailers, and tool trailers, but the heaviest is a triple axle Meridian fuel trailer for hauling Jet fuel to wherever a helicopter may need refueling.
The fuel trailer when full has approximately 1200 lbs of tongue weight.
You don't need more than timbrens except good tires.
If you have only P tires get rid of them and throw on some quality LT tires and run higher pressures than normal in the rear tires.
It depends on the psi you find best for you could be 60 or 70 or 80?
I recently put toyo open country AT 2 tires on my truck and really happy with them so far, but its only been a week, so cannot comment on the long term use.

Like you i realize that nothing else is required.
Whoever thought them up is a genius.
Simplicity of design, and work perfectly.
The more complex systems never worked as well for me.
I tried an actual leaf onetime years ago.
It was supposed to only come into play with a load on.
Driving around empty it rattled and clanged.
And if you hit a big bump empty and it came in contact it would bounce the rear of the truck around.
Sadly once I got a truly heavy load in the box though it was too weak to support it well.

Westsydeguy- thank you I believe you have made my decision easier, I was leaning towards the active suspension but these look like they will fit the bill. Thanks!

Will the timbres raise the rear any? I was wanting to use 1.5" in the front and raise the rear the same amount to keep the rake then be hopefully level while towing.

The timbrens are rubber bump stops. They don't change your ride height. They only stop the rear suspension from bottoming out. The RAS will probably give you 1-2" of extra resting height in the back.

I have my Equalizer hitch dialed in really well and my 15 F150 sits real level. I was looking at Timbrens or air bags to reduce the vertical bounce I get when towing my 32' TT. Have any of you had this problem solved by adding Timbrens? I don't need them for squat/level, just for reducing some bounce.

That's what they do. When the suspension compresses it make contact with the Squeezable rubber to work. Kind of like air bags bit nothing to do except install them once and forget about them.

Just found this post

I am looking at Timbrens, but not sure how well they works for lifted trucks

I have a 3" tall rear block in place of the stock rear 1-1/4" tall block

I have had both. Yes the RAS will put more stress on
your leaves, but they are adjustable and can add some height to your rear end but in doing that will be a bit more stiff. They also can get squeaky. Both are great products and do what they are supposed to do.
Probably going to go with air bags on this truck when the time comes.
