If I didn't use mine for a daily driver I would consider changing rear gears for 4.10 or even 4.56, which would have same net effect. And gears wouldn't void powertrain warranty.
If you look at my earlier post I mentioned having the dealer flash or reprogram the tranny made a lot of difference in it searching for gears also made for much smoother shifting just an idea but I think it may help your problem. I'm not sure if there was an actual TSB on it or not but they should know what you're talking about because it was an issue.

Just a thought, but if you can't get your dealer to fix the issue why not buy an aftermarket programmer with the tranny adjustability and have someone do it that way. Then you could also add the custom tune and up your hp and tq a little. Both will help.

Not to speak for the original poster but I'm pretty sure would probably have something to do with voiding your warranty
