Default Question for you campers...

Just wondering what you carry for leveling blocks? With my popup I made some stepped planks out of 2x10's but that was a single axle, now with the TT, they are not nearly long enough. (for extreme cases I have a small shovel so I could drop a wheel down a few inches if need be, not sure I want to do that with the TT though)

I have some old 6x6 pieces that I use under the stabilizing jacks so that isn't too much of a problem but side to side can be such a pain in the..

I use the orange plastic leveling blocks. They are lighter and more versatile than wood, and I have two large bags of them. I still carry a few pieces of wood just in case.

Lynx levelers.

I do have some wood just in case, but overall I find the lynx levelers do the job very well.

for everyone reading this that doesn't know. the scissor jacks on TTs are NOT made to bare the weight of the trailer in whole.

That is correct. Cant tell you how many people think it is ok to use the stabilizer jacks for leveling...

Looks like I will be investigating leveling blocks. (And will probably still carry my 6x6's for the stabilizing jacks because I dont like them to be fully extended)

Level side to side, then front to back, then drop the stabs no more than snug. Really I am hoping that the sites that fit my TT are more level than some we landed on with our popup.

You could use a 2 ramp system. BAck on to one ramp above level set the 2nd ramp down and roll forward to support the front axle tire.

I use some 2X6's cut with a 45-degree ramp on them. I have 3 beveled on both ends to go between the wheels and 3 with a single end beveled for the off wheel. I stacked them and drilled a 5/8" hole through the stack and use a long pin to stake them in the ground. This keeps them from sliding around when I put the trailer on them.
