Yeh, I lost before when needing to do a dealer trade at the end of the year, instead of buying the dealers stock (which didn't provide what I needed).

Probably could have negotiated Xplan or better if the vehicle had been in stock having to order it to get the HD Payload and wait for delivery limited my negotiating position I think.
10k below sticker is not bad at all since you had to order it. Thanks for the info.

His area may get better rebates. The Chicago area has the worst rebates, guess Ford thinks everyone is Rich and doesn't need them.

Year=2016, Trim=Platinum, Drive=4x4, Cab=SCREW, Bed=5.5', Engine=3.5L EB, Axle=3.55, GVWR=7000#, Payload=1498#, Tow=11,500#, Options=701A, Max Tow (53c), Fx4, Extended fuel tank

All the options really add up to take a toll on payload capacity. They're not all luxuries - even the extended fuel tank has a penalty. Subtracting for WDH, ~720 lbs tongue weight for our TT, 500 lbs for my 4-person family and a couple hundred pounds of misc cargo (bedliner, tonneau, tools etc) we are right at the payload capacity. I really need to put this on a scale to get an actual weight.

The weight seems to really add up on the Platinum's. I've attached a screen shot of the database entries for 2016 SCREW's. Your's is the 2nd heaviest truck in the list.

Fantastic spreadsheet. Your pivot tables are as interesting as the data! Anyone shopping for a TV will learn more from this than anything Ford makes available.

Thanks. I teach comp sci at the college level and have taught Excel (but not in a while). Pivot tables are quite powerful.
