Are you sure about that? I haven't ever heard of any truck rims that can't handle higher inflation rates. Actual weight, yes, but higher air inflation?

You are correct. But if your going to put LT tires on, then your going to more in likely increasing payload too. Don't be an idiot. If you are putting on LT tires its for one reason, to handle the additional loads P tires can not. So you need to upgrade the rims too.

Not always. I just don't like the squirm and handling of P rated tires when under load. Others don't seem to mind. Both tires as spec'd by Ford can handle the truck's GVWR or GAWR's.

Of course, if you're exceeding your GVWR or GAWR then, yes, do what you have to do.

Stock wheels are more then adequate to handle the load.

Switching to LT tires is a smart move. Advising that a change of wheels is needed is not.

I'm sure the OP would appreciate information based on fact and not misunderstanding and fear.
