Holy crap that is scary. But how is the trailer still attached to the ball? Did the hitch bend at a 90 degree angle because of the force of the trailer flipping? Or did the ball become disconnected and the chains are still hooked up?

Anyway I hope everyone is okay.

Middle of intersection, trailer got clipped by other car and flopped on its side.

Now that's a serious case of negative tounge weight. Hope the truck is ok.

If that had been a 5th wheeler over on its side, would that have taken the tow vehicle over on its side also?

I think on the big rigs, the king pin will take the truck over when the trailer flips on its side.

Yep, usually happens.

Don't think this had to do with tongue weight, had to do with guy blowing light and clipping trailer.

Maybe the little gray car with front end damage, rammed under the frame of the travel trailer and lifted up one side of the travel trailer until it tipped over.
