Default No 12v power to 7 way

2006 F150 SCREW. I have everything but 12v power to charge my camper battery. I don't have the fuse box diagram that lives at the passenger kick panel. No power key on as well. Help!

BTW...Absolutely love my F150!!

Chic

Check and see if the fuse and relay are installed. I know on the newer one they are not installed from the factory but left in a bag in the glove box

Thanks bmach but where do the fuse and relay plug in? I don't have a book or diagram of the fuse box.

I believe the fuse goes in slot 9 and the relay in 21. Search the net to be sure.

On my '10 its slot 9, 21 and 54. I keep seeing #106 when I am googling this for your MY. Check there?

And one more small detail, you didn't specify where you checked for loss of power. Is it right off the 7 pin harness or is the battery just not charging? Did you check the inline fuse at the camper battery too?

On my 05 I had to install a relay in slot R05 in the fuse box in the kick panel on the passenger side. There are 6 relay spots, 2 rows of 3. It is the center socket in one of the rows. You can pick up a standard 30 amp relay at any auto parts store and plug it in. To make sure you have it plugged into the correct spot, check pin 4 and ground with the ignition on. If you have 12v then you have the correct socket.

Smurfs, I have no power at the pin. I will check the relay tomorrow morning. Need to get this working as we are leaving Friday and will need my fridge on 12v for the ride.

If your ride is under 4-5 hours and you pre cool your fridge and pack it with cold items you should be ok with I off.

The R05 relay was missing. Picked one up for less than $6. Fixed it! Awesome! Thanks so much bmach, smurfs of war and Jerry Helmer. Ya'll rock! And, I did print out the fuse box labeling for future.
