The HD Payload package would address the desire for better tires and stiffer suspension, along with a heavier-steel frame. It is only available, as noted above, with the 3.5 EcoBoost and 5.0. To the OP, having more than adequate truck can make the difference between an enjoyable or white-knuckle vacation.
