I know you mentioned getting a 17, but this is a 16 that I almost bought, but found another that had a few other options. As far as I know it's the only nrew 16 left out there. I didn't have them search 17's everywhere, but know there weren't any locally.

Thanks for the link hd screw. I was reading up on the hdpp and I hate to step on any toes, but every one of those trucks I've seen aren't really my style. Also, if the only real suspension advantage is an extra leaf, i could just put an add a leaf on a standard f150. I'm not over my 1562 lb payload on my current truck, it just does not feel as stable as I would like. I would just step up to a 3/4 but I'm afraid they won't pull as well and I'll be disappointed. I think with all this I'll just do as velosprout said and keep my current truck.

While I was looking I noticed when you could find an HDPP truck on a lot it was limited in the towing area. It made me suspect the few HDPP's I saw were ordered to cater towards construction or agricultural oriented customers and not folks who tow and RV.
