You posted your setup on the main trailer page. You didn't need to be introduced. Every one can see your 5th wheel (the snow picture), what in the heck are you talking about? I was no more aware of YOUR weights as you were aware of the OP's weights so why run your mouth.

I am NOT over my payload, in fact I am NOT over my ratings, any of them. Why, because I have scaled my combo. More than once. I have the CAT scales to prove it. You make generalizations and assumptions about things that you have no idea of the true numbers.

Do you want a medal or something? Being under payload 100% of the time does not automatically make you driver of the year. Around here it seems to be the end all of driver safety and nothing else.

So get your 'facts' straight. When you would like to speak in facts and numbers please post away, until then, well, I'll not waste any more keystrokes on you. Your post speaks for itself. In either case, luckily the OP has clearly chosen to listen to those that informed and are telling him the straight facts.
My facts? You are the one that misrepresented me by saying "ignore nihilus as he says screw weight limits" when I said nothing of the sort. I said to be safe and being a little over was not the end of the world. You are full of crap on your 'facts' anyhow. Not everyone has a 400lb wife. you can get a 5th wheel hitch under 250 lbs. that is already more 'facts' then you put out.

At 1762 payload, plus the other factors on your truck you are not going to find a suitable fifth wheel. You will also blow your RAWR out of the water with almost any 5'r.

All hail the Fact Master.

Once again...

"Opinions are like ssholes, everyone has one!"

Everyone is going to have their take on these types of posts. I personally tend to tow near the limits, but am very comfortable with my setup. My travel trailer is 38' long and 7,400# empty and I don't have any issues towing it across the US. The newer F150's are just great towing vehicles and provide a very stable towing platform. Others would say I'm endangering the lives of baby seals in the Arctic!

My opinion... FLAME ON
