Woah! Keep us informed on this issue and what fixes it when you get the chance.

I haven't found a ramp for my bike yet so I haven't hauled anything. Reading up on some of the issues others have experienced so I'll be somewhat prepared.

Do you know of anybody with a working brake controller? Plug the trailer into another truck and see if the brakes are indeed working.

I always eliminate trailer faults before blaming the truck. Even new trailers sit out exposed to the elements and critters that like the chew on wires.

The truck comes with either a 4pin or dual 4pin/7pin connectors but they both connect to the main vehicle wiring harness via a connector that sits above a cross-member between the frame rails. I'd make sure that connector is fully seated.
