Comparing apples to apples, the Reese Straight-Line dual cam hitch rated for up to 1,200 pounds tongue weight, and including all the parts required except the ball, costs $568 per the link in my earlier post. The comparable Equal-I-zer hitch costs $599 from the same discount source.

Both are very good WD hitches with good sway control. The only WD hitches that are better cost over $2,000.

There are lots of less-expensive WD hitches, but they aren't nearly as good and don't have nearly as good sway control. So stay away from those. Go for the Reese Strait-Line or Equal-I-Zer linked to above, or spend the big bucks for the even better hitches such as the Pro-Pride designed by Jim Hensley.

Equal-i-zer is also one of the few (WD hitches) that will still work if you're using surge brakes (assuming you get the correct model) but your picture doesn't show surge brakes so I'm assuming you're using electric . . . . however, at any of those $$ prices, having that correct model for FUTURE use (say, on a boat or other surge brake trailer) will definitely make a big difference if that trailer doesn't have electric brakes . . . just thinking ahead for you . . .
