Quick update: we picked up our Jayco from Weyburn on Saturday. As expected by everyone, the wind seemed to blow right in our face for almost the whole trip

Truck performed well. Seemed to hang out in 4th and 5th most of the trip. No temp issues (32 above the whole way home).

Great experience all around. Wedging that thing in my driveway was a trick- but I'm not divorced after the ordeal. Its a bit ****-eyed, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of backing up without seeing eventually

Thanks for the input guys!

Congrats on the new trailer.

We may be heading out to pick up a new trailer in SK next summer. There's some trailers made in Oregon (Timber Ridge by Outdoors RV) and the closest dealer to us in Ontario is MJ RV in Moose Jaw. We'll see.

Here she is. A little disheveled from the trip home. It's used- but we were happy as heck with it, and the price was great. I wanted to call it "Plan B" but the missus wasn't a fan. So we settled on the HMCS Anchovy.

Great looking trailer. Hope you enjoy it and have a great time camping with it. Got any plans for the maiden voyage.

You bet. Heading to Cypress Hills this weekend!

Gotta admit, the only thing that is a little daunting to me at the moment is that black tank. Not certain of the proper care and procedures for it, but otherwise we are ready to roll!

You need to put some treatment in the tank Canadian Tire, CO OP etc sell . TP you can test the one you have (check online for test) we use the coop brand , we have a black water flush on our tt if you don't have that you can flush the toilet or pour water down the toilet to help clean it out when you are cleaning it out when done camping. RV.net is a good forum camping information
