LOL - You DEFINITELY cured your towing and payload concerns.

Hmm. How is that F-250 any shorter than the F-150 Super Crew with the 6.5' bed? Granted you got more payload now, but in your 2nd post you said you didn't want a longer truck. That truck and the F-150 Super Crew with the 6.5' bed are within 2" of each other.

1. It's a F350, not a F250.
2. I changed my mind. It's part of being a human.

Lol!! Now you'll have to worry about your friends wanting you to tow their stuff!

Ole Nitpicker must challenge that. It's 2.5".

Ford specs say:
F-350 SRW CrewCab shorty w/156.2" wheelbase = 246.2" overall length,
F-150 SuperCrew w/6.5' bed, 156.6 wheelbase = 243.7" overall length
----------------------------------------------
2.5" difference.

It will be a tight fit in the garage. I'll have to fold in the mirrors each time I pull in and I'm going to have very little spare room in the length department, but the trade-off was worth it.

Trucks are quite predominant in Alaska, so I've been thankful to never have had any major towing requests with my past trucks.

You would be right Smokey, I stand corrected.
