you need a system like this (http://www.etrailer.com/Weight-Distr...e/RP66151.html) for a vnose. it's what i'm having to put on my vnose after the previous owner jerry rigged a dual cam system. this linked system can be as close as 20 inches from center of trailer coupler to frame mount position. I have a 3' v on mine and i don't enchroach the frame until 27" out so i'm betting you'll be good too.

At 9300# trailer weight, your tongue should be 1200# +/-, probably more. If you are 1200# tongue weight, there is no way you only sag 2.75" in the back AND the front has zero rise in it. Just doesn't happen.
Something sure seems to be missing in your info.
I watched the tech measure, but I think at this point, I need to do a little bit of due diligence myself. Perhaps my load is still not properly distrbuted and I really need to move trailer load foward a few more inches to get my ~15% togue weight which will certainly provoke more rear end sag and front rise. I will look for some scales to understand the current togue weight.

Boys this has been great info.

The measurements I gave where pretty accurate to within 1/4". I am hauling the M3 in the avatar, bunch of wheels, tools and track sundries. Trailer 4400#. Car 2800#. Wheels, tools and sundries 2000# (~9200# total). When I had the car loaded further back the tail wag was outright trecherous. I moved the car forward little by little until it seemed managable. Still perhaps not enought.

The v-nose is built out so far forward over the A-frame that I need to remove part of the V to accomodate the installation of the clamps that fit the A-frame.

So if understand, tongue weight should by 10-15% of the loaded trailer, approx 1200#.

I'll get things on the scales so I know for sure, but assuming that I'm not near the required tongue weight, the WDH seems like it will be a must. As it stands any bump in the road I hit really tosses my setup around. I'm going to bet that once I'm setup correctly with the WDH that I'll still going to need the airbag kit.

I really appreciate everyone weighing in. Thanks!

Dude, I just showed you a WDH that won't interfere with the v.

I thought I would need bags on mine until I got the WDH set right. They may help a little with porpoising, but I haven't thought about bags again for several trips.

I'll start off with WDH for starters and take it from there. Thanks.

And an awesome looking hitch at that. Looks like they clamp on a good 20" from the receiver. Like I said. The V comes forward quite a ways .... 8" shy from the receiver. I'll have to cut away a good 10 inches or so, so I can clamp her on the A frame. I'll post the before and after pics as soon as she's done.

Wtf kind of manufacture does that? I've got over two feet of space before my v. Take a picture of your trailer for us.

That hitch almost looks like the Equal-i-zer. Weird. Strange is also the gross trailer weight rating of 10K lbs with only 600 lbs in tongue weight, that's only 6%.
Galaxy - that trailer - loaded as you are loading it - will push the limits of your truck. You will need to have everything set up perfectly, and you could still end up being over a few of the limits. This is a trailer for a super duty if you want to make it safe and enjoyable - IMO.
