Default Looking for Tow vehicle advice

I am in the market for a new tow vehicle and am not sure whether to purchase an F150 ecoboost with max tow package etc. or an F 250 diesel. It will be used to pull a 25' Airstream Flying Cloud.
The specs for the airstream are:
Hitch weight w/o options or variable weight is 837 lbs.
unit base weight is 5443 lbs,
NCC w/o options fluid or cargo is 1857 lbs,
GVWR is 7300lbs.

I am also not sure what NCC stands for.

Thanks John

NCC is the carrying capacity in the trailer (GVWR-Unloaded weight).

MaxTow on the F150 for sure. Tell us more about what kind of truck you want. Regular cab, Super Cab, Super Crew? Also, what will be in the truck when you are loaded out at Max and headed camping (canoes, kayaks, motorcycles, etc, generator, grill, bikes, etc...) That will help with other suggestions. Tow ratings on the F150 are substantial but payload capacity can often be the limiting factor. We can give you more advice, once we understand what kind of truck config you want.

Max tow for sure, most likely even HD payload with 1,000+ lbs of tongue weight once loaded.
It really depends on how much gear you want to haul around besides the trailer. As willie said: what configuration are you looking for (cab / 4x4 / etc). Then, how many people (total weight) will be in the truck when towing, and what (if anything) would you be hauling in the bed.
NCC = net carrying capacity, I believe.

My thanks for the responses. here is some additional info

If I was to purchase the F150 it would be the supercrew with 6.5 inch box, 4X4 with the ecobooster with the 3.73 limited slip axle along with both the HD Payload Pkg and the Max tow pkg. to the trim, not sure, but I suspect it will be the Lariet. Not sure what i would need in the diesel package

two to four adult passengers.

the max that would be in the bed at any one time would be two honda 2000 generators, a small grill, 1 to 3 bikes, wood, air compressor, portable screen room, 5 gallon gas tank, small tool box.

In the trailer food, clothing linen, soda etc

Ecoboost+Maxtow+HDPayload and a good WDH should cover all your needs.

Unless you really carry a lot of hardwood. That stuff is heavy!

Think in your config that's 2310# payload. So 1500# left for people and gear?

If that's not good enough, you will have to go to F250.
