looking for suggestions
Hello, I have a 2013 scab stx 5.0 V8 with a 3" lift 275/70-18 tires. I just bought a new travel trailer dry weight around 7000, fully loaded water tank, gear etc. maybe around 8000. It does a pretty good job towing it considering the weight but I would like to give it a little more umph if possible, any suggestions?..thanks

1695 lbs , ive been thinking about a K&N or AFE air intake and a tuner for it in the near future. Like I said it does a pretty good job just thought I would like a little more so she doesn't have to work so hard pulling

I wouldnt waste money on a CAI. Our set up already draws cold air from the fender and the expensive kits just say they improve airflow. You are better off just modifying the stock intake. Can't remember what the mod is called. I am sure others can chime in.
A good tuner with a tow mode will help in a variety of ways including shifting.
Do you know what your stock gears are?

Depends on what you want it to do. Most applications can be solved with a Bluetooth OBDII adapter with the Torque Pro phone app combined with any tuner that can write a custom tune. I have the SCT X4.

Gryphon based on the Edge platform. Very happy with the results.
They all perform the same function and I doubt any one is leaps and bounds above another.
