Yep. Advertised I've seen anywhere from 7200-7500, depending on options. But, what's funny is that the sticker inside the door says 7756. Pin weight is definitely around 1400, as advertised. The deflection matches precisely to the load test I did a while back. Also, does not feel any heavier on acceleration than our previous 6400lb dry tt.

Which model is that? We have been looking at the 285BH as our next step.

It's the 285BH. We decided on this over the Cougar xlite due to 80" bed, 80 gallon (dual 40) gray tanks as well as rear outside storage instead of the outside kitchen. If you are looking at other options, the cougar 29RBS is very similar, but, with shorter bed and smaller tanks. Some may use/prefer the outside kitchen. To me, it's just one more thing to maintain and haul around.

For the weight, manufacturers now have to put official weight on a yellow sticker. Add propane and battery weight and you got your real dry weight. The weight on my sticker is dead on with the weight at the scale.

Cheers

Truck is '11 Platinum screw and travel trailer is a 2012 Outback 274RB. Truck performs flawlessly and we enjoy the heck out of the camper!

You should take that truck back. There's a big "G" on the side of it. That may be covered under waranty. ?
