Would a leveling kit make my issue worse? I am not fond of the rake look.
the first purpose to having a truck is hauling or towing.
with that said, the rake is there so when you load the box down, it levels the truck out.
so yes, add a leveling kit will make your rear sag like the soggy bottom boys. lol.
personally... a 4" lift would do more, but costs more too.
personally, i plan on adding in roadmasters and then leveling 2". the springs will add an additional 1 1/8" to the rake. so the level will bring up the truck to simulate a bit of a 2" lift. and should be slightly raked or level if i load it down a lot.
How was the wind at Fort Casey? Every time I've visited the wind was pretty brutal. Sounds like you had a great time - beautiful areas too.
we've been there twice (both times in sept. ) and the weather was super both times with no wind to speak of...yes, we had a great time, love the area for sure, always something interesting going by on the water, last year we saw killer whales not far off shore of the campsite. this year lots of sea lions, cruise ships, and a nuclear sub heading out to the pacific ocean (escorted by 2 coast guard vessels)
