Hey no problem- I like shopping for trailers almost as I do trucks. Shopping for trailers is fun. As long as your honest with the sales people and tell them your just snooping they will leave you alone for the most part. Trailer camping is great fun, it can be frustrating at times though. Backing up was a real PITA for me. Until I had to start backing down our narrow private driveway. I'd suggest after you buy the trailer that you find an empty parking lot (maybe a school's lot) and just practice backing in and communicating with your wife. More fights have broken out over communicating while backing up then anything (almost anything ).

Good luck and have fun!

We got a set of walkie talkies. Much better than figuring out my wife's hand signals. Lol

I also use the Bull Rings in the back with a thin rope to loop around the rear tires to keep them from moving around.

Check my profile pictures for some more details.
Right on, I just saw the two screws side by side in the pic u posted, looked like self tappers is why I asked.

Outback 250rs specs say 27'6". Does that include the rear slide?
How does it tow? Weight looks good, 5915lbs dry and 640 lbs hitch weight.
Outback is an excellent trailer, we have a 23ft Trail Vision that has expandable capabilities similar to the outback. Look at my photo album for PICs... Good luck...

Lets see your campers being towed-image-1596373018.jpg

Camping at Stockton lake Missouri with my XLT 5.0 4x4off road and 22ft Fleetwood avalon. The 5.0 pulls the 6000gvw trailer with no problems. Bought it in April and taken it out several times and average 14mpg.

Wow that's probably the biggest pop up I have ever seen! Good lookin' set up!

And thats good towing mileage.....Good reason to consider a pop up style trailer.

Hey guys I'm fairly new to the forum and just recently added some pics of my new truck (2012 Screw EB 157"WB with Max Tow Pkg). Anyway we are purchasing a new 5th wheel RV (2013 Palomino Puma 295kbh) and I had a question for you guys. I have looked over this thread and read that the yellow sticker on the inside driver side door jam for the weight ratings particularly the max payload capacity already takes into account a 150lb passenger. Can anyone please confirm this for me? And how was this info obtained? And also by any chance do you know if this also includes a full tank of gas?
