I've actually only taken one trip with the camper since I put them on, but they were a vast improvement over the stock Michelins; those things felt like the were made of jello, not rubber. I'd say there might have been a little wiggle, but I only had then aired up to 50psi. From reading the rv forums I think I should have had them closer to 65psi. I'm pretty sure the extra psi will take care of everything.

Looks really good, I considered buying a white truck so it would look better with my 5th Wheel... But ended up with a black FX4.

What's your truck engine? Does it sag a lot with this trailer?

Happy camping!

I've got a 5.4l engine and it pulls the 5ver pretty good. As for sagging, I've installed a set of Firestone Ride-Right airbags and Toyo Open Country LT's last year so that takes care of it. I know that I'm probably over my limit but I keep my camping local till I get myself a Super Duty later on.

Didn't say anything about you being over your limit. We have to put everything in perspective!

I myself pull a full size 5ver and might install airbags, just wanted to know how you were doing it

Cheers

The airbags are probably the best $300 I spent for the truck. I would definitely recommend it. It only took me about 3 hours to install in my driveway.

I do believe if you used the curt "no drill" brackets for your 5th wheel hitch (like I did) bags are not an option now. The plate covers the hole.

If I were to put support in now I would go with SuperSprings or the Roadmaster Active.

Default Maiden voyage

Here we are getting ready to leave for our first camping trip with the new truck and fiver. And then ready to head home 4 days later.
