First trip of the year, Deception Pass State Park, you get a free airshow, the EA18 Growlers are in a full throttle climb right over the campground as they take off from Whidbey Island Naval Airstation.
This is a Chalet Takena 1860, dry weight 3550, wet weight around 4500. Has an oven, which was the one thing we really wanted in a trailer.

Hooked up to my trailer yesterday so I could replace the awning. Kudos to my wife for helping me.

Default '01 SuperCrew & 2016 Jayco 264BHW

Our new trailer being pulled by my 2001 F150 SuperCrew. We didn't purchase it at Camping World but went there to find some goodies... This was shortly before we went to the Cat Scale to find out how much we tip the scales at.

There is a Camping World near my house and they are very nice. We stopped by the one in Chattanooga and they are terrible. Like an aggressive car dealership. Push, push push.

The 4900# number is on the sticker or the invoice?

What the means is 4900 + fuel, people, kids, dogs, luggage, tools, trailer hitch, supplies etc. < 7750#

According to the scale ticket you are at 9580. 1800# high on GVWR for the truck. When you find the sticker on the trailer it should have similar ratings for axle and hitch weight.

Nice setup! I looked hard at the SLX Jayco's, great value.

if you do this backwards, the most towing equipped F150 CCLB is the Eco.

GVWR = 7850 with a payload of 2650 if equipped with HD payload and 18" whls. and max tow pkg

Its rated to tow 11400#
GCWR is 17000#

so if we include tongue weight and load the truck to 7850, you only have 9150 left for trailer weight TO BE RIGHT AT MAX RATING.

if you follow the 85% rule, you have 7800. WD hitch is a must. Only one recommendation there - Hensley Arrow.
