Lets see your campers being towed

No camping pics yet, we just brought home our 2014 Chalet Takena 1860. Our truck doesn't have a factory tow package (it came with the factory 4 wire plug and hitch bumper), so we're limited to 5000 lbs. I added a receiver hitch and the factory 4/7 wire plug at the back (the other wires were in the plug at the spare tire), and 1AAuto power heated tow mirrors, and the factory transmission cooler This trailer has a GVW of 4500, tandem axles, a three burner stove and oven and a 6 cf fridge with a separate freezer door. Since there's only two of us (empty nesters), it'll be enough. I got a wd hitch with 600 lb bars and a friction antisway bar. It tows so nice I pretty much forgot about it by the time we'd gotten home. For a brake controller I went with the Direclink that plugs into the OBDII port. I've towed a boat with surge brakes but never a trailer with electric brakes so I don't have anything to compare it to but I really like the no thump and clunk when starting and stopping. Best part, the AC unit on top clears the carport by 3".
