Just wondering if you upgrade your tires when towing a fifth wheel or just kept factory tires on

I'm 5th wheel shopping now....time to upgrade from my 8k# 33' Keystone TT 291RKSSRWE!!!
Question....do you all use a slider hitch or go with a 16k fixed unit with a rotating Turret?, for the 5.5 bed.
And Montana makes a sweet 5th wheel that is only 9,150 dry weight- I believe that's the one!

You better be getting an HD if you are going to go for a 9,150# dry 5er! Don't think HDs come in 5.5' beds either. Your loaded pin weight is going to be too heavy for a Tow Max or anything less. Trust me I know!

On another note I use a 5th Airborne Sidewinder and regular hitch with my 5.5' bed Screw.

I use the standard Reese Sidewinder and Jayco sells them as a factory option call the Revolution. But my Cougar High Country 299RKS is 7900# dry and is 9500# loaded, so you will be approaching 11,000# loaded and too much pin weight for even the HD Payload. Take a look at the Cougar High Country line instead. Although in 11,000 miles of towing, I have never wished for a bigger truck, I have also been glad I didn't get a bigger trailer. Jayco has the Eagle HT line that would also be more appropriate for the F150 Max Tow, HD Payload.

I had a set of Firestone Air boots....might have to put an auto air system on as well.
