I really didn't think about that until you said that. I don't think I want this trailer swinging around the truck which is exactly what would happen at 37' and 7.5k lbs.!

If it is nose high it will cause the trailer to sway. I would also tighten up the WD bars a little more and get some more weight on the front end of your truck to bring that front end down a bit more too. If i were you i would load up some gear and the family and hit the road!! I cant do anything until it warms up..

It was interesting. Not sure what I was expecting but with everyone saying they couldn't tell the trailer was there left me wondering. Those folks must be towing trailers in the 3-5k lb. range. I'm sure I will be very happy. When I returned from my short drive I noticed some new burning-in smells coming from the engine compartment or exhaust. I can only assume the turbos were getting more of a workout then they did the first 2,000 miles. Nothing bad, just the new exhaust type smell.

I'm not sure if turning in the culdesac left the truck/trailer with that profile, but I had just leveled everything in my driveway and adjusted the ball height to be level with the trailer (+1.5" to account for suspension compression). Also when I dropped the trailer in the drive on the ball everything looked good and level and then this picture . I'll have to bring my wrenches with me on the first camping trip in case I need to make adjustments.

And you have some serious snow there! Ours is all gone in northeast Ohio. was up to 70 degrees F. here today in March no less! It's going to be in the 30's this week though. Gotta love Ohio weather...

My TT all covered up, will uncover soon if the weather stays like this (60 degrees f today). It's a 2013 keystone passport 2910bh we bought it last year. We had a 2007 forest river wildwood before. I have an edge cs for the towing and a reese weight distribution hitch setup. The truck does just fine pulling. I am planning on doing some upgrades on the truck and the trailer this spring to make towing and camping a little better.

It's only an 07 so it's the 5.4. I have 275/65/20 nittos on and i know they don't help but you gotta look good too lol.

Looks like a clean 07'

What upgrades are you planning? I'm always looking for new ideas. Installed one of these over the weekend. Works great (in driveway testing ) and takes the guesswork out of the side-side leveling amount for me.

Well that was a little a project. You should install it on the flat of the A-Frame. I did not have any room on mine to install it on the frame and I tried everything to sandwich it in!

I ended up installing it on the top of the electric tounge jack. Not what I wanted but it was the best I could do. Good thing I did though because as it turned out, I removed the top cover to bolt it on and found out that the rubber plug on the top of the jack had been leaking water and was corroding the power unit . Cleaned it off, sprayed liberaly with WD-40 and used silicone to seal the rubber plug.
