Got the hitch set up on the new truck today. First time around the block with the Ecoboost. So far feels really strong! Quite a bit different from the 07' 5.4L

There's a scab long bed ecoboost (white) with a Rockwood ultrite 5r in my campground (betabel). Looks like a nice setup. Tried to make contact but haven't seen him yet

Good to hear. I wouldn't say I didn't know the trailer was back there as many have posted when towing 7500 lbs. but the motor was definitley much stronger and of course did not go over 2500 RPM. I'll be excited to get it on the road for a longer journey to really get a feel for the performance.

Here's my rig, a 1991 Cobra, made by Salem. Its 4500 lb with a pin weight of 800 lbs. Perfect for two. Tows great but its at a seasonal site now at Harrison Maine. The wife and I have had them all, VW camper, tents, pop ups, travel treailer, motorhome, converted stepvan, and now this fiver. Wife likes the fiver, I would prefer to convert a bus.
I always get in the last words anytime I have an argument with the wife.

I know the eco pulls well but now you're just showing off. I have spun the tires but no donuts with the trailer yet

Nice setup!! I too came from a 07' 5.4L and it was like night and day! My trailer is 7500lbs. You are going to be pleasantly surprised when you climb your first big hill. I'm not sure if it's the angle you took the picture but the trailer looks a little nose high? You want the trailer either perfectly level or slightly nose down. If it is nose high it will cause the trailer to sway. I would also tighten up the WD bars a little more and get some more weight on the front end of your truck to bring that front end down a bit more too. If i were you i would load up some gear and the family and hit the road!! I cant do anything until it warms up..

I really like the way it performs.
