Default Lets see your campers being towed

and the camper pics if you got them. I couldn't find a thread dedicated to campers alone and I get tired of going through tons of pages trying to find them so I thought about starting this thread.

So if you have one of those little tent trailers that can be pulled by motorcycle or vehicle, a tear drop, a Pop Up, a travel trailer, a fifth wheel, or even a bed mounted truck camper, let's see them.

Here's my pics of my 2008 Jayco Jay Flight 19BH. It's dry weight is 3900 lbs and with water, gear, propane, and battery, it comes in around ~5000 lbs.

Here are a couple. The first is with the Jayco 23B hybrid that replaced the Palomino hard-side poup in the second picture.

8,000km's worth of towing this camper around the eastern Canadian provinces and as far as Maryland during our two week vacation in August. Total of 66 Nights spend in the camper last summer. The truck works flawlessly towing this trailer, its about the max i would go for a Max tow non-HD as i've got breathing room for the kids to grow and its never a handfull to drive. That's why we chose a mini slide model bunkhouse instead of the full slide models that end up being 1000lbs heavier and a ft taller.

Perfect for two old folks and F-150. Walk-around queen-size bed with Serta EuroTop mattress, shower/bath seperate from pottie, nice roomy closet, no heavy slideout or couch, GVWR 5,600 pounds. Experience says we don't need a couch. Dinette converts to a bed in case we have a great-grandchild with us, but that's rare. 5k generator can ride in the bed of the pickup in case we go boondocking, which is also rare. We usually pay the big bucks to KOA.

Nice camper, but GVWR = 10,656. What does the CAT scale say when on the road with the wet and loaded camper?

2006 Sportsmen 2604P by KZ. Just spent the weekend in it. Left wife and kids at campground for this week and I came home to work. :-(

Probably says over the GVWR and GAWR along with a WD setup that's obviously not adjusted properly. Just my 0.02$

Those Bunkhouse models with 2 full slides always seem to put about 1200lbs on the tongue, sometimes more depending on if they are carrying water for boondocking.
