Lol.
Sounds a bit like my last camping trip.
Down by Adams lake, and there were 13 ford trucks, 2 dodge trucks, a motorhome on ford chassis, and 1 couple tenting who were driving a honda crv.

For Memorial weekend I borrowed my parents brand new 29' Sunset trail. It doesn't look that long in the pic, but it is very close to 31.5' from rear bumper to hitch, and is rated @ 6060#s before loaded. My dad really wanted me to use his new '14 3.5 EB with maw tow, but I wanted to use my '04 5.4 with max tow. My truck did the job, pulled well, but sure sucked the gas! I got 7 to 9 mpg depending on the wind. Truck is leveled, so she still did squat about 2" in the back after tightening up the bars and having the bed loaded with stuff. I have the Rancho adjustable shocks all the way around and some new Hankook DynaPro ATMs, and they did the job well.

I'm guessing that's somewhere along Forestry Trunk Road, just west of Calgary.

Finally getting around to posting this.
Our "new" upgrade from our previous pop up trailer .
It's not much, but it's certainly a step up for us. The missus is loving the indoor plumbing, LOL!
Gross weight is only 4,800lbs. I have a WDH but it barely needs it, in fact I think I may not have enough tongue weight.

Took it out for the first time a week ago (Victoria Day long weekend here in Canada) and was warm and dry in the (inevitable) rain.

Although the sun finally did shine, !

when I picked mine up...the dealer said I didn't need my wdh.. the trailer barely squats my truck as well....it did in deed tow it.... but now that I have used it... it definitely helps... I don't find it as bouncy...

I'm, just starting the F250 shopping.
We have a 2014 Jayco that weighs 8147 dry...so we're really working the '06 Mark LT max tow.
The spousal unit wants a fiver anyway. B-)

This was at Blythe Island Park in Georgia, on the coast across from Jekyll Island.
