04 F150 Fx4 6" lift 35's just sold my camper looking to upsize and was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of pulling a 5th wheel with a lifted truck, height to the top of my bed rails is 61" I'm looking at a later model camper 01..only thing I can think to do is flip the springs on the camper to give me some more height..any input would be great, thanks in advance!

I've seen lifted trucks pulling lifted campers, not sure how they do in the wind though, lol

My cousin has a '10 duramax 2500 LTZ on a 6" with 35's (I know, not a ford, but somewhat relevant). When he bought his newest camper, he had to get a 35ft bumper pull because he sat too high for a standard 5th wheel. He also had to order a WD hitch that provided enough drop to pull the travel trailer level.

Images of '12 F150 and '13 Flagstaff Superlite 27RLWS. Actually bought the camper first this past February, but it was a bit much for my old '03 Tahoe Z71 (from our first camping trip). Picked up the new '12 F150 with max tow off the lot in March as a leftover. The camper has 3 slides, but only weighs 6400lbs dry on the label. Tows like a dream - plenty of reserve power-wise with the EB! Only issue is that the wife wanted to match the camper color for the truck...but the ingot silver was the only truck on the entire lot with max tow (out of maybe 40 other F150s!).

Very nice setup. Hey do the 12's or 13's have power fold mirrors yet, or still manual?

Tow mirrors that is.

Thanks! Unfortunately, the 12's are not power fold or power extendable. I do believe the 13's are on both counts. Not a deal breaker, but would be handy!

Hey guys, I have a '13 fx4 with power fold/power extend. Gotta say, pretty sweet!! Sorry to change the focus, but I am going nuts trying to get my set up right. I have a 2' level with 33x12.5 Toyo MT and I am struggling BIG time with swaying when I pull. I NEED HELP. Is it tire pressure? Are my tires too wide? Is it the lift? I'm working with Ford as well as my mechanic but haven't figured it out. I have a longer trip planned in 3 weeks and I'm dreading it. I bought the truck because my '01 couldn't handle my trailer (under powered) so went all out. 6.2 l., max tow, and a bunch of extra's. Sooooo not happy with the way it tows!! Any help would be much appreciated.
